This year, ArTravel presents the Brentwood Art Center Travel Program Painting Workshop in Tuscany, Italy.
Join us for another art travel workshop of watercolor, oil and acrylic painting or independent artmaking in the charming and ancient Tuscan town of Lucca, Italy.
Inhabited since Etruscan times, Lucca still bears traces of its history as an Etruscan village, a Roman municipality, a Medieval town and a Renaissance city. It has changed little in the intervening centuries.
From July 23 through August 9th, 2009 our group will take up residence in a four-star hotel in the center of this beautiful town. We will paint and draw in our nearby air-conditioned studio and on trips to Tuscan villas, gardens and the surrounding landscape .
Instruction is available in both oil, acrylic or watercolor painting. For advanced students or professional artists capable of self-motivation, an Independent Artists Program is available. THis is the fourteenth year of our art travel summer program in Europe.
