For the professional artist or advanced student capable of self-directed work, this is an ideal working retreat offering an exhibition experience in Europe. We offer the artist-in-residence a semi-private studio and an opportunity to meet and discuss issues in contemporary art with other artists and art faculty. Artists may join in on any class, provided space is available. Private critiques can be arranged by appointment with the instructors.
Admission to this program is by portfolio review and permission of the director. Artists must show demonstrated ability to work in an undirected environment. This program is limited to a maximum of six advanced artists.
