Program Costs, Accommodations and Registration Form for the ArTravel Painting Workshops and Instructional Art Classes in Italy

Our program is a 16 nights oil or watercolor painting workshop at a cost of $7,300. Program fee includes tuition for art classes, use of studios, transportation to landscape painting areas and double occupancy accommodations (only if a roommate is available).

We will stay in a four-star hotel located on the Lake Como waterfront in the town of Menaggio; the our studios and in the hotel. Our hotel includes air-conditioned rooms with mini-bar, personal telephone, cable television and a swimming pool. Breakfast and one lunch or dinner daily are included. Special dietary requests may or may not be available.

Additional supplement for single room is $1,350. Personal items, one-meal daily, beverages, outside dinner parties, airfare, ground transportation and optional excursions are not included in the program fee. The non-studio participant fee for a spouse or friend is $195 per night and includes sharing a room with the studio participant. Non-studio participants may partake in all program activities except studio work. They are welcome to join us for lectures, dinners, celebrations, excursions, etc.

Registration form and a non-refundable $500 deposit are due by December 3, 2012. Deposit will be applied to program cost. In the event of non-acceptance, deposit and all fees will be refunded. Balance in full is due by January 7, 2013. Late registration or late payment will result in $150 additional charge. Space is strictly limited; register early to guarantee your participation. Cancellations prior to May 1, 2013 are 50% refunded with no refunds after May 2, 2013. Students are advised to purchase travel cancellation insurance.

A specific class or instructor in this workshop is subject to cancellation should registration be insufficient to cover expenses. In this case the deposit and fees will be refunded in full or student may choose to register for another class. Fee adjustments may be made for fluctuations in currency exchange. Participants may sign up for only one of the offered courses. All students must complete an application and provide all materials requested, including a personal interview (telephone interviews will be accepted for those living outside the Los Angeles region). Acceptance into the program will be determined by the student's proficiency and knowledge of art, motivation to learn and demonstrated ability to work and interact in a collegial manner with others.
