ArTravel: The Brentwood Art Center Travel Program in France
Costs and Accommodations

The program fee of $7,250 includes tuition for classes, use of studios, and single occupancy accommodations. The workshop this year is from June 23rd to July 9th, 2010.

The chateau is not air conditioned, but the climate is very moderate in the summer and each bedroom has its own ceiling fan. Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily are included. Special dietary requests may not be available. The chateau includes a luxurious screening room with a selection of over 500 films.

Personal items, beverages, outside dinner parties, airfare, ground transportation and optional excursions are not included in the program fee. A friend or spouse is welcome to join us as a non-studio participant. Non-studio participants may partake in all program activities except studio work. The non-studio participant fee is $210 per night and includes sharing a room with the studio participant.

Reservations are due now (space is very limited), balance in full is due by December 31st, 2010. Travel & Trip cancellation Insurance is strongly urged as cancellations are non-refundable. We will keep a "wait list" of interested students and will reimburse on a cancellation only if the space is sold to another. In such a case a $500 administration fee will be retained.

In the event it becomes necessary, The Brentwood Art Center and ArTravel reserve the right to cancel this program. Should program cancellation occur, all monies would be refunded.

Participants may sign up for only one of the offered courses. All students must complete an application and provide all materials requested, including a personal interview. Telephone interviews will be accepted for those living outside the Los Angeles region. Acceptance into the program will be determined by the student's proficiency and knowledge of art, motivation to learn and demonstrated ability to work and interact in a collegial manner with others.
